If you are still experiencing difficulty, force quitting and relaunching the app might resolve this.
Sometimes if you are switching to other apps that also use sound, your device can get confused and stop playing certain kinds of sound. Force quitting and relaunching the app should resolve this.
The issue you're experiencing may be caused by how the app is being closed. When you hit your device's Home button, the app stays running in the background. When this happens the app continues to run until your connection to our server times out. This can often result in small amounts of progress being lost as your progress isn't saved properly. The only fix for this is to make sure you close the app by quitting or logging out under the options menu.
