What is Concert Kings?

Concert Kings is a musical idle game about rising to the top of the music industry. Sign dozens of awesome musicians into your music empire, each with their own unique style and sound. Upgrade your musicians’ look and fame level to attract new talent, then customize your stage, band, and music to put on the performances of your dreams.

How do I get more musicians?

Networking! Everyone knows someone, right? Once you’ve reached the required level, musicians can be sent on special recruit missions. Completing a recruit mission will allow you to recruit a new musician to your band. Some musicians can also be purchased by spending Diamonds in the Store menu!

How do I view my collected musicians?

Every musician you’ve recruited to your band can be viewed using the “Band” button located  is at the bottom left of the Mainstage. It contains a detailed overview of the musicians you’ve collected for each of your stages.

How do I level up/train musicians?

Practice makes perfect! You can send musicians on training missions to increase their Talent. Once a musician has gained enough Talent their Fame will increase. musicians do not gain Talent by completing performance missions.

How is a band member improved by leveling/training?

Increasing your musicians’ Fame and evolving your musicians will increase the amount of band royalties you earn and make missions easier to complete.

How does Fame affect the game?

Fame represents the musician’s skill level. As they increase their Fame with training, they will complete performance missions much more easily.

Can I name my musicians?

Musicians cannot be renamed. Each musician is completely unique and each has their own individual personality and style.

How do I get my musicians to perform?

You can send musicians out to play performance missions. When your musicians return from a successful performance mission you will earn fans, Tokens and a Coin reward.

What do fans do? How do I earn them?

Any musician on a successful performance mission will earn fans. Once a musician earns enough fans and Tokens, you’ll be able to evolve them.

What are Tokens? 

You earn Tokens by completing performance missions. There are different Tokens for each instrument type and each type of Token can only be used to evolve a musician of the matching type. Your Token collection can be viewed in your Inventory.

Where can I see my Inventory?

The Inventory is accessible through a button at the top left of the Mainstage. The icon looks like a small chest and tapping it will reveal a list of your collected Tokens.

What does Evolving a musician do?

Evolving a musician upgrades their appearance and increases the amount of band Royalties you’ll make over time. fans and Tokens are required to evolve your musician. You can see the total number of fans and Tokens your musician has and how many they require to evolve by looking at their stats.

How do I evolve my musicians?

Once a musician has earned enough fans and Tokens, you can evolve them by opening your band Roster, tapping on the musician, then tapping the evolve button. The musician will then evolve and the Fan/Token counters will reset to 0. If the musician has another Evolution level, the new requirement will be displayed in their information. 

How do I know if a musician is able to evolve?

When a musician can be evolved, the musician Roster button will display a small exclamation mark (!) over it. Opening the Roster will show your collected musicians for each stage. Any that can be evolved will display an exclamation mark where their level is normally displayed.

How do I earn Diamonds?

Performance missions will offer a Diamond reward for successfully completing them. This is a slow but steady way to accumulate Diamonds. If you need Diamonds in a hurry they can be purchased in the Store. You can also earn Diamonds by completing unique Quests.

How do you buy Diamonds and Coins?

The currency buttons have a small “+” icon next to them. Tapping the “+” will open the Store to the appropriate currency Store page, showing you every available currency package. Check the Stores often so you don’t miss out on sales and limited time promotions!

Can I move my musicians around?

You cannot move musicians freely on stage. Each spot on the stage is unique to an instrument and only certain musicians can play on each stage. You can swap a musician out by tapping on the musician, then tapping on the swap button located at the top right of the Mainstage, next to the Information button. You can also swap active musicians on each stage from the musician Roster!

How do I change the lyrics for a song?

The lyrics for each song can be changed in the song menu by selecting the Lyrics button. Each stage has its own song to unlock, and several different parts to find as you unlock new musicians.

How do I unlock more song parts?

Song parts are unlocked by recruiting new musicians. Every musician is able to play a different part of a song. Once that musician is unlocked you’re able to use the Notepad on the Mainstage to modify the parts that are being played. This can have a huge effect on the song!

How do I earn Coins?

You can earn Coins by completing performance missions, or by collecting your accumulated band Royalties. Coins can also be purchased from the store!

What are band Royalties?

Band Royalties are a form of income that accumulates over time. You can collect your band Royalties by tapping on the Coin icon, under your Fame level, near the top left side of your Mainstage. Make sure to log in and collect your band Royalties often or you’ll reach the maximum amount you can hold and be unable to earn more.

How do I earn more band Royalties?

The amount of Royalties your band earns over time are increased based on the Fame and evolve level of each of your musicians, in addition to the evolve level for each of your stages. You can see how much an individual musician is increasing your band Royalties by looking at their stats!

What are Coins for?

Any Coins you collect can be used to pay for training missions, or spent to evolve your stages!

Can I change my band’s name after it has been chosen?

Yes! Your band name can be changed at any time by tapping on it while viewing your Mainstage. But let’s keep it clean, band names are subject to profanity filtering!

What are stages?

Stages are where your musicians play their hit songs. Each stage has a different song and a different group of musicians who can perform on that stage. The stage is also where you edit your song’s lyrics!

How do I unlock the next stage?

New stages are unlocked by recruiting any musician that knows how to play a part of the song on that stage. Once a musician is acquired that can play on the stage, you can freely cycle between the newly unlocked stage and your previous ones.

How do I evolve my stage?

To unlock the next evolution for your stage you first must complete a certain amount of missions. Once the evolution is unlocked you can spend coins to complete the evolution. Evolving your stage will change the overall look of the stage, as well as increasing your Royalty gain over time. Each stage upgrade opens up more space in the venue and increases the size of your audience!

What is the News?

The News button is a great place to keep up with what’s happening with Concert Kings and Big Blue Bubble. You can find the News by tapping the word bubble icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

How do I access my Mailbox?

The Mailbox is accessed by opening the News screen, then tapping on the word bubble in the top left corner of the News screen. The Mailbox is where you’ll find rewards for completed offers, purchases, and any giveaways from Big Blue Bubble!

How can I improve my game’s performance?

In the Settings menu there are three options that allow you to adjust the game’s performance. You may want to adjust these settings to balance game quality, battery life, and phone heat caused by charging your device, or warm weather.

Low: This setting reduces the overall quality of the art and special effects in the game, but will give you the longest battery life and keep your device from overheating during charging, or on hot days.

Medium: This setting provides a compromise between the low and high graphics settings. Offering you better visuals than low, but increased battery life compared to the high setting.

High: This setting will look the best and improves the way the game looks drastically, but it will drain your battery the fastest and may cause your device to warm up.

Why is my game slow?

Sometimes apps running in the background can start to slow down your device; make sure to close any other apps that may be running in the background. If you continue to experience difficulties getting the game to run properly, please try restarting your device. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, please contact our customer support team. The game keeps freezing on my device. What should I do?

You should attempt to force quit from Concert Kings. If you continue to experience issues, please contact our customer support team through the game or use the contact form at the bottom of this F.A.Q.

I’ve purchased an item in-game and it hasn’t arrived. What should I do?

Sometimes an in-app purchase can take up to 48 hours to complete processing. If your purchase has not arrived after 48 hours, please contact our customer support team. Our team can be reached directly through Concert Kings or the contact form at the bottom of this F.A.Q.

I tried to make an in-app purchase, but it didn't appear to go through. How can I tell if my account has been debited?

On iOS: Sign in to your account on the iTunes Store. Once you are logged in, select the small arrow next to your Apple ID in the upper right corner and click Account. On the Account page, there is a heading titled Purchase History – click the See All option beside it.
A list of purchases will appear. On this page, you should be able to locate your in-app purchase for Concert Kings. If you made multiple purchases at the same time, you can click on the arrow on the left-hand side of the listing to expand it for more details.

On Android: Sign in to your Google Play account. Go to “My Android Apps” in the upper right corner. Go to “My Orders & Settings” along the bottom to the left. On the next page, you should be able to locate your in-app purchase for Concert Kings.

I need a refund, what do I do?

If you have completed a purchase and need a refund you will need to perform the following steps: If you are an iOS device user (iPhone, iPad, or iPod) you will need to contact the iTunes customer support team for assistance. If you are a using an Android device, and have completed the purchase through Google Play, you must contact Google Play customer support for assistance within the first 48 hours of completing the purchase. If the purchase occurred longer than 48 hours ago you will need to contact us directly using the support option in the game, or through the contact form at the bottom of this F.A.Q. Please include your purchase receipt and the reason you require the refund in your request.
